Hale based success story Black Circle Coffee is set to grow in 2017, Mark Slinger owner has always had a passion for great coffee and now makes it his mission to provide quality coffee at great prices.
Mark came from a long history in hospitality over the last 24 years, his most recent venture being starting a hotel company in 2004 and creating an award winning performing brand before leaving to seek adventure in the entrepreneurial world.
Mark started Black Circle Coffee in 2010 as a side hustle that never stopped and found a great niche in the market for a premium brand, launching the Sideburns bold blend in all branches of Selfridges department stores across the UK with storage hunters star and friend Jesse McClure.

Paul Newman recently joined Black Circle Coffee as Sales Director his history is impressive and he is an accomplished hospitality trade professional. Paul’s experience involves restaurant and bar based operations, sales & marketing with more than 25 years in the wines & spirit, drinks brands and bar & restaurant industries.
Paul has hospitality in his blood, having a chef, restaurant and hotel operator as a father. In the early 1990s Paul worked successfully as a National Accounts Manager for a wine merchant, specialising in Champagne and looking after a portfolio of over £4m and in the latter 1990s was the Regional Brand Manager for Absolut Vodka in the UK.

To this day Paul is often credited as being one of the key persons who started the influx of premium design led spirits in the UK. In 1999 Paul became a founder member, marketing director, board member and shareholder for Living Ventures Ltd, the company behind concepts such as The Living Room restaurant and bar, Gusto Restaurants and The Blackhouse Grills. Since 2007 Paul’s entrepreneurial flair has seen him open 9 restaurants and one wine company of his own.
Paul now has a keen interest in Black Circle Coffee as Sales Director and operates Mr Hospitality Uk, a one-stop consultancy for all things food & drink.
In 2009 Paul was selected as one of the UK’s most influential people in the Industry at the Theme Magazine Top 100 awards. In 2012, 13, 14, 15 & 16 Paul was voted as one of the Northern Restaurant & Bar Top 50 operators. Paul was also proudly awarded the UK Pub Personality of the Year 2016 by Imbibe Magazine.
Paul lives in Cheshire with his wife, Wendy, daughter Asia and son Salvador. Paul has a keen ‘obvious’ interest in eating out, loves coffee & wine and has a passion for Formula 1
