So-Hale were invited to enjoy the Opera A Tavola which incorporated an evening of Good food wine and music by Impromptu Opera – a sellout ticket event with people waiting on a reserve list if only Carluccio’s had more space!

Arriving to a red Carpet outside the restaurant, Carluccio’s had pulled all the stops out to make it feel like a VIP evening with prosecco and canapés to start.

The Mayor of Trafford arrived and was greeted by the Carluccio’s team before taking their seats in the restaurant ready for the Music to begin.

Flowers on the table were a lovely touch to a special evening event.

The Selection of Carluccio’s favourite antipasti, including mixed olives, artichokes and salami, broccoli and chilli salad, chicken liver pate and ‘caponata’ crostini,, aged balsamic and parmesan.

Amy louise Photography was on hand to capture the evening and So-Hale would like to thank her for her time and effort. She did as always a fantastic job and Carluccio’s mentioned how professional she was in such a busy space to work in still producing fantastic results.

The Opera Singers sang before and after each course and the pianist was fantastic.

Starting the main course which was pork belly with a fig stuffing, served with spring vegetables. We were four songs in and learning the story the trio were singing to us. Listening to Rossini, Puccini and Delibes from various operas we were then served Torta al Limone (lemon Cheescake)

A Treat after desert was a miniature cupcake from ‘Nanalicious’ a local maker of cupcakes who provided bespoke cakes for this special event. They were as the name says ‘delicious’ and so perfect in every way. Thank you for this from everyone on the night.

This event brought the community together to enjoy an evening out on a Monday in Hale and Carluccio’s team did a great effort to make it feel very special. The service was second to none and the team produced a slick and effective service for the night.

Whilst the weather held off So-Hale left for the evening having being part of a lovely local event and waived Manager Angela off to her new post at Carluccio’s Trafford Centre – we all wish Angela the best of luck and will miss her.
